Healthy Macaroni Kids

February is National Children's Dental Health Month

February 18, 2011
Parents who educate themselves and their children at a young age about proper oral health care can set their children on a path to grow up with a healthy smile and good oral health.

To help parents and children learn about the risks associated with dental disease, MetLife has created the Healthy Mouth Match Up game, an interactive game to compliment the resources housed online in the MetLife Oral Health Library.  And its free to the public.  The MetLife Oral Health Library is a collection of articles, risk assessments and other tools produced by MetLife and other leading institutions, including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research.   With dental care constantly evolving, it is important for parents to keep informed about the latest treatments and care options as they prepare their children for a lifetime of healthy dental habits.    Many of the family dental health resources included in the Library, are available in both English and Spanish.

MetLife's Healthy Mouth Match Up game and other educational materials can be accessed within the Kid's Dental Health Center in the MetLife Oral Health Library at www.metlife.com/dental.
